Exercise Can Be Fun!

Exercise

We all know it’s important to exercise on a regular basis. Exercise is a key factor in improved heart health, weight management, better sleep, improved mood, increased energy, longevity and much more. So why do so many of us dread doing something that we know is incredibly good for us? Often exercise can become monotonous and that makes it hard to get motivated each day. The exciting thing is that exercise doesn’t have to be boring. In fact, it can be fun!

Looking forward to your workout makes doing it much more enjoyable as well. Try exercising with a friend. Meet up in the morning, at lunch, or after work and make it about feeding your friendship while you exercise together. If you have access to a TV during your workout, try doing it while you watch one of your favorite shows. Laughing at your favorite sitcom or getting lost in an intense drama will make the time pass faster and be more enjoyable. You can also get outside. Go for a walk, hike, or bike ride and really take in your surroundings. Focus on the scenery instead of how hard your body is working. How about turning up some great music? Choose something upbeat that gets you excited. We can’t help but move our bodies and dance when we hear a good beat that we love. And last, mix it up! Changing up your workout keeps your body guessing and also makes it more fun for you. You don’t have to run or bike everyday. Try a video at home, go for a swim, join a group fitness class at the gym, try a local dance class or play a game like tennis, basketball or volleyball with some friends.

What A Busy Mom Can Accomplish When…

B A Nicole

This is Nicole. She is a busy full time mom of one and a full time student. She also owns her own photography business. “I lost 50 in a few short months. I was 180 and now 130 and couldn’t be happier and I feel the best I have in 10 years. I have struggled with my weight since I was 18, being uneducated about health I gained 50 lbs in one year and wasn’t able to lose it until I found this program. I tried many “diets” and nothing stuck with me and helped. I was diabetic but now I am considered “pre-diabetic” and no longer having to take any medications to control my blood sugar levels. This program has truly changed my life!!”
