– My mission is to encourage people to do, whatever God calls them to do, with freedom, energy, strength and passion.
– I am a Native Oregonian, grew up in Lake Oswego. I first attended University of Idaho, but transferred to Washington State University in Spokane after receiving a Nursing Scholarship from the US Navy. I proudly served our sailors, active and retired plus their families, at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth as a US Navy Nurse Corps Officer in Norfolk, VA for four years.
– My nursing career has included Hospital nursing, home health, health insurance. I worked in Labor, Delivery and Postpartum for 12+ years, I was a Certified Diabetes Educator for 2 years, but I have been a School Nurse for the last 7 years. My varied career has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience for which I am eternally grateful.
– Personally, I am the proud (and busy) mother of 5 TEENAGERS (including one at college)! Three of this children I were born to us. Two of them we received from their birth parents, but whom are now ours legally, spiritually and emotionally.
I share this joy and responsibility with my husband of over 20 years who is a Children, Youth and Family Pastor to a large church in the Seattle Area. Our house is loud and fun and I wouldn’t change a thing!
